This modern B & B on the shores of the Lake is the ideal location for a relaxing few days or as the base to visit Fraser Island or to go whale watching. The rooms are beautifully presented with total attention to all the details that make for a great stay. There are beautiful touches like hand made quilts and teddy bears which make the rooms friendly and inviting. Each room has its own outdoor sitting area and the lounge and dining rooms are spacious and comfortable. A full breakfast is served by the lake while enjoying the ducks, black swans, and other water birds and the turtles that come up for their breakfast as well. The hosts are very welcoming and happily organise everything from a taxi to your tours. During my visit there were international travellers from Germany, Holland, England and France which made for enjoyable breakfast conversations as we all shared our travel stories and made recommendations of sites to see.
